High in the pure air of the Andes mountains we open our hearts and voices, supported by the sacred plants, mountains and wisdom of ancient Peru.
This retreat is full of nectar from beginning to end. Guided by experienced international facilitators and music artists Cher Joy and Jiya Julia, we will embark on a 6 night, 7 day journey into the power of our own voice, through the medium of songwriting, sound healing, medicine songs and mantra.

This unique and sweet retreat is offered at one of our most loved locations: the infamous Munay Sonqo in the Sacred Valley of Peru. High in the stunning Andes, you will immediately experience the power of this land, a place that seems to hold an initiation for all those who are called here. The silence and the clarity of space is immense; the perfect place to embark on our journey to our own unique voice medicine.
Held by these magnificent mountains, we will spend the week opening our voices and breaking through blockage. Using activities such as musical freeform and intentional song, you will gain confidence and inspiration to flow into your own creations. Learn basic tools for songwriting and be supported to explore your own original material both in group and individual settings, and have the opportunity to share your creations and receive feedback from facilitators.
As an ally for opening our hearts and voices, we will be offering optional opportunities for microdose with local master plant Washuma (San Pedro cactus), helping us to tune into our most magical frequency and release blockages. We will also offer the heart opening medicine of cacao, as well as a cacao-making workshop.

The Soul Song Retreat is a deeply intentional experience and a powerful transformation, offered in a ceremonial and devotional container. The space is carefully curated to be safe and supportive for all levels of musical and/or spiritual experience. You will receive daily yoga, meditation and movement sessions with a focus on empowerment and sound, as well as plenty of sacred ceremony, including fire circles, sound ceremony and coca leaf offerings. You will have regular opportunities to practice being seen and heard in both your music and your life.
The stunning and peaceful setting of Munay Sonqo Retreat supports us with a huge open fireplace, elegant accommodation, exquisite flower gardens, and delicious, local vegetarian cuisine. You will have an afternoon off to shop and sightsee in nearby Pisac town or explore the nearby area. We will invigorate ourselves on a mountain hike and dip into the thundering power of a glacier waterfall, and self care in the in-house sauna, pool and plant bath.
Deepen your comfort in singing and sound as we learn new medicine music and mantra. Free your own song through group jams, creation sessions and voice empowerment techniques. Receive optional tuition in an instrument of your choice and learn how to use your own voice as a personal healing tool.
