There's a lot of information here, so take a breath and read slowly. If you have any questions, we're here to help. So, please contact us!
Please note that the downpayment of a deposit indicates agreement with these policies, so please take the time to get familiar with them before your purchase.

All inclusive-pricing, tuition and room and board, and meals for in-person trainings. Depending on your accommodation choice and length of program, prices will vary. Please refer to each individual service to find the cost. Early bird discounts are available 1-3 months prior to start date

Subscriptions renew at the same time on the same day each month. It’s your responsibility to ensure the funds will be there every 30 days.
Monthly subscriptions renew at the same time on the same day each month. If a monthly subscription starts on the 29th, 30th, or 31st, the renewal date will change when the renewal month doesn't have a corresponding date. For example, a monthly subscription started on August 31 will renew on September 30, and it will continue to renew on the 30th of each month until February. In February, it will renew on the 28th, and will continue to renew on the 28th indefinitely.
If you miss a payment on your payment plan, you will be charged an admin fee of 3% of the program cost each month that the payment is late.
-
A $500 deposit is required to have your name placed on a waiting list. If no spaces become available, your deposit will be returned in full or transferred to another training at no cost. If a space becomes available and you attend the event, your deposit will be applied to your tuition payment. If a space becomes available and you choose to cancel or transfer, your deposit will not be returned.

Please do your own research to make sure you are in alignment with the visa requirements for your country.
We recommend buying flights in advance, along with travel insurance, and pre-purchasing bags to keep costs down.
We can help you to arrange transport from the airport to the location. Please note, these services are provided by separate, unrelated companies and as such have their own policies.
While we will do our best to support your journey and provide tools for easeful travel. we do not accept liability for trip cancellation as a result of insufficient preparation.

Many of our events occur internationally, and are subject to an extra set of unpredictable forces. While the vast majority of our participants attend our experiences with ease and zero trouble, it is wise to be prepared in the unlikely event of an emergency or challenge. We ask that all participants purchase travel insurance that will cover you:
For cancellation of your trip due to unforeseen circumstances
For healthcare or emergency transportation in the event of sickness or injury.
For lost or stolen property.
-
Maintaining the integrity and safety of our events is of utmost importance to us. We ask that all participants conduct themselves with respect and grace, in a manner that supports the sacred space. We require our participants to respect each other and treat each other with kindness, especially in the face of differences.
We ask our participants to take personal responsibility for your safety and that of your belongings. Please hide and do not carry valuables around, travel in pairs or groups where possible and do not travel or go out at night while within the retreat container. If in doubt, please always ask your retreats facilitator for information or support.
The retreat container is designed as a gentle, nourishing and sometimes challenging experience that can lead to personal development and even revelation. This is not a substitute for therapy or medical intervention. Participants are asked to keep their expectations of the experience, and requests of staff, within the scope of our role as retreat facilitators and yoga teachers.
If a medical or mental health emergency should arise that is beyond the scope of our professional reach, we will do our utmost to support you to find the help that you need. We do not accept liability for any preexisting conditions or emergency situations beyond our control.
We reserve the right to ask a participant to leave, should they pose a threat to themselves and/or others, a damaging effect on the space, or if their needs are beyond the scope offered by a retreat experience.
No refunds will be given if a student is asked to depart the course early. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about any of our policies, please contact us.

While all deposits are non-refundable, we understand that life sometimes throws you a curve ball. If something comes up and you need to transfer to a future experience, here are your options.
Please note, these policies are written here for a reason and will be adhered to, so please become familiar with them before purchase. Deposit payment indicates agreement with said policies.
For transfer credit, although we are unable to offer refunds, you have the option to gift your transfer credit to a loved one or friend. You also may donate it towards our scholarship fund.
If it's over 30 days before the event begins: you will receive a full transfer minus a $500 transfer fee.
If it's less than 30 days before the event begins: you will receive a full transfer credit minus 50% of the deposit paid towards tuition only. Room and Board cost is not refundable or transferable (R&B is arranged separately with the retreat center, and is not included in credit due to our dependence on the center’s varying - typically harsher - refund policies).
No refunds are available after the start date of the course or retreat, including if you leave the experience early for any reason.

While changes and challenges occur, especially in more developing countries where we host our events, we will always do our best to host our scheduled retreats.
However, in the event of Force Majeure, i.e. an unforeseeable, external and unavoidable situation beyond our control that requires the retreat or event to be cancelled (such as a natural disaster, social or political emergency or pandemic) our policy is to postpone the retreat. We understand that events beyond our control can create stress and play havoc with our schedules and finances, and we thank you in advance for understanding.
In the event of postponement, your full payment will automatically be transferred to the new dates with no extra cost to you.
If you are not able to make the new dates, we will carry your full payment as credit towards any other future retreat, coaching service or event offered by Jiya Julia. Please note, it is not possible for us to transfer Jiya Julia retreat credit to a Kula Collective YTT.
Please note, for all force majeure situations, we are unable to provide refunds - this is due to the fact that your payment is directly used to pay unrefundable room and board deposits and other similar expenses in advance. Typically in such situations, the retreat host and the retreat center have their hands tied and, while we are happy to absorb the cost and inconvenience associated with postponing and transferring your payment, conditions dictate that we are unable to give exception to this policy. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance that will cover you for cancellation in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
